I have a laserjet 2300 configured as printer for Letter size paper. This is both in Yast, Hardware, Printer, and In Kprinter. When I go to Krita, Print, printer, properties, it shows laserjet 2300, paper size of A$ which is greyed out. I go to the drivers tab, and select letter and save. Then I print, and aftar awhile, the printers asks for A4 size paper. If I go back to the printer properties in the print dialog, it still shows A4 paper size. This is cups print system by the way. Why does Krita do this and how do I solve it. It works fine with OOo and Evolution. If I go to Kword and the print dialog, it shows Letter for the paper size.. Art

Art, I'm guessing this might be a bug in Krita's printing, but it is easily corrected. When you tell it to print and the kprinter dialog comes up, click on "Properties" button to open a configurations window. Click on the Drivers tab and then the page size. It will open up a page size window at the bottom which allows you to choose the correct one. Click OK to accept then click again on the Properties button to change the size in the General tab. You'll notice that the ghosted A4 drop down bar is now active. Might want to report that to the Krita folks to see if they are aware. regards, Lee
