Setup, SuSe 8.0, KDE 3, postfix as choice. Name of the computer bigone, Pentium II 400mHz, name of the home net constant.net. My ISP uses pop3 and smtp, dns 192.202,32,2 and 192.202.33.2. Modem dial ok and email is readily received. In Kmail I have removed the default (?) sendmail and replaced it with SMTP, my login (constant) and in the second row I entered smtp.indo.net.id as the place to get the mail. Authorisation is none (not required). Hope this will do for a start ;-). -- " Every little BYTE helps " NTReader v0.36w(P)/Beta (Registered) in conjunction with Net-Tamer.
