Hello, I have tried to use SQL, Apache, and PHP to write a web based guestbook and everything seems to work properly. However, when a user submits his comments, the database will not capture the information. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Could it be permission related? Presumably, you're using something like: $query = "insert my_table set name = '$name',email = '$email'"; $result = mysql_query( $query ); If so, try putting in the following line temporarily: if(!$result) print(mysql_error()); It should give you some information about where you're going wrong. -- JDL
