You're presented with the same list again and again, but there's a difference: The first time the checkmarks were unticked, and now they are ticked. The updates _have_ been installed the first time you selected them. Now the checkmarks are ticked because they _are_ already installed, and of course they won't be installed again. This is a user interface annoyance. It's fixed in openSUSE 10.2, but won't be fixed for 10.1 because it requires too many changes in the underlying libraries. I think you have to live with it.
