What package manager are you trying to use? If YaST, I'm *guessing* you might need to add "RPMS" to the end. I have for example (under 10.2): <http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.2/RPMS> I'm not sure about this though. If you check the openSUSE web page <http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories#Guru> the link for 10.1 is as you have shown, but the subdirectory under that link, "RPMS", is the one which contains the repodata directory, which I believe is the important part. Then again, I don't really know all that much about this stuff. What I have shown seems to work here though (in 10.2). I hope this helps. -- Don -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

it does. Your guess was right. I fixed my install and the wiki accordingly thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://gourmandises.orangeblog.fr/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Which wiki do you mean? It may be worth checking and updating other repos, too. I had the same problem with Packman. When I tried to use the old link from my notes (http://packman.unixheads.com/suse/10.1/) it also allowed me to select all the packages, but gave me "package not found" for each of them. Then I switched to the one in the wiki page that Don mentioned (http://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.1/) and everything worked fine. -- Carlos FL Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
