[SuSE Linux] X Server boot problems

      <DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Allright all, I am a rookie linux user so bear 
with me</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>For the past two weeks I have been trying to get 
xwindow to run on my machine. It is a 233 MHz notebook witht the NeoMagic 
MagicGraph 128XD Video Card.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>There was a problem with the resolution being 
only in 320X480 or the lowest one possible, whatever that may be. I was messing 
with the xfconfig/setup in YaST. Somehow I managed to mess it up even more and 
now it will not run at all. When I type startx at the command line I get a 
message to the effect,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT><FONT color=#000000 
size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>X Server binary missing or corrupted. / and 
repair or install a new one</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>x???_???? error</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>exiting</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>and that is all it does. It this is not enough 
information for someone to diagnose the problem PLEASE ask me and I will provide
