I recently installed tomcat and the tomcat connector for Apache2 so that I could use jsp but I can't seem to get it working correctly. If I put a .jsp file in the srv/www/htdocs directory it displays all the code as a text file in the browser. Since this is my first time using tomcat I'm sure I missed something, just not sure what it is. I'm running SuSE 9.1 Pro with Apache2 and using version is 5.0.19-13 of tomcat which is what comes shipped with 9.1. Does tomcat start on a port other than 80 that would cause it not to work by default in the htdocs directory? Thanks, Ben

Make sure tomcat is running (on port 8080 by default) - /etc/init.d/tomcat start or rctomcat start.
