Moving SuSE7.2 from Pentium II to Athlon
I'm thinking about updating my computer. Currently running SuSE 7.2 on a Pentium II Asus PB2 system. The new system will be Gigabyte GA 7DXR with an AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4G chip. I will move the hard drive to the new system and hopefully it will boot. Will this work or do I have to reinstall SuSE? Thanks, Terry

Thanks, Terry I have moved 7.1 from a k6-2350 to an athlon 850 with no trouble it just detected the new hardware an boot right up

I have moved 7.1 from a k6-2350 to an athlon 850 with no trouble it just detected the new hardware an boot right up
