Pong - you need dbus-1-debuginfo too to get sense out of the last 3 stack frames in the backtrace.
In KDE-Factory I have dbus-1-debuginfo v1.2.16-4.1 But I'm running dbus-1 v1.2.10-5.4.1 I think they need to be in sync. Also, could the trouble be that my dbus is too old for KDE 4.3.1? Right, otherwise the debugger can't match up the symbols and make the backtrace useful. Upgrade all your dbus-1 packages to the KDE KDE4 Factory Desktop set

DBUS has a cast-iron compatibility guarantee. The reason for the crash will most probably be an assert triggered by an illegally formed dbus message being sent by Dolphin. Will -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No such animal. ie. I am using yast2, I've filtered by repository. I've selected the KDE KDE4 Factory Desktop repo. I have no dbus related packages at all to choose from.
