hi, we're usind dump command to backup our system's (suse 6.1) local disks and it works. but, when we want to use this command to backup our nfs RW mounted dirs, it fails. (not actually gives a error message, but it dumps 0.00 of type :) we can read and write those mounted dirs but we could not dump them. so what might be the problem, any idea? here i'm giving some outputs: when we type mount -s ..... 195.174.27.3:/export/home on /mnt/home/users type nfs (rw,addr=195.174.27.3) --------------------------------- and he is the dump command line: # dump 0uBf 2097152 /dev/nst0 /mnt/home/users //its about 750MB dir.
