Hi, I've been trying to use a Palm Pilot with linux SuSe 6.3. After a evaluation of all linux packages that work with Pilot (pilot-xfer, jpilot, kpilot, staroffice), I've seen that the most complet package is StarOffice, but I have not used it successfully, since sometimes it synchronises with pilot and sometimes not. I thought that it was a problem of interference with kpilotDaemon, but I've desinstall kpilot and from now, Pilot never synchronises with StarOffice. Anyone has a Palm Pilot and has been success in ussing with Linux. Thanx a lot for every one for their time and for all that has answered all my mails. I have recently started using a Palm Pilot with Linux.I also sync with my M$ system at work...and it doesn't like Star office. J Pilot is in my opion the best., although I have not been able to set up the mail conduit. Kpilot did not work for me at all:-( Did you install Pilot-Link? This may become OT....so feel free to contact me off list. I am sure many of the members in your local LUG will also be able to help.
