Re: [S.u.S.E. Linux] Thanks to the SuSE Team
Yup: its a quiet revolution this one. LOL. Quiet, but consistant, with an eye on quality. Ch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ hi there Dee, I don't think I ever thanked you for your advice on SuSE 5.1. The CDs and book finally arrived, there had been an oversight at LinuxMall which caused the delay. Anyway, SuSE is the best distribution I've used by far, and with KDE beta3 it is even better. I had to bring my SuSE box in to work to show off some biological modelling software I am using in my research, i.e., SWARM which is developed on Linux. A couple of people converted to Linux when they saw how far it has come in the last year or so, they were very impressed. I could not imagine the trouble I would have if I had to use NT or such. All the tools we take for granted in Linux just aren't there, especially data processing and general programming tools. Imagine the cost to set up the equivelent on NT. So thaks for your advice, it was very helpfull.
