Upgrade from SuSE 9.0 to 9.1 beta?
I've seen some articles on the web regarding SuSE 9.1 beta .. Is it possible to upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1 beta now? How do you do this? Thanks! Mark

No, the articles you will have seen will be either from journalists who have been sent betas for pre-release reviews, or members of the beta programme. -- James Ogley, UNIX Systems Administrator, Pinnacle Insurance Plc james.ogley@pinnacle.co.uk +44 (0) 20 8731 3619 www.pinnacle.co.uk Personal: james@rubberturnip.org.uk www.rubberturnip.org.uk Updated GNOME packages for SUSE LINUX: www.usr-local-bin.org
If you're not on the beta testing crew, you can't. Simple enough?

I've tried several times to subscribe the the suse-beta list/program, without any luck. Although I would like to check out the beta releases, Realisticly there's no way, I simply don't have the bandwidth to download that. I'm interested in following what goes on though. -- Kind regards Hans du Plooy Newington Consulting Services hansdp at newingtoncs dot co dot za

Well Hans.. As you may well know, we in the beta test group are not allowed to talk about development "in public", so I guess you're kind of out of luck then. Let me just say that so far, it looks great.. :) Anders Norrbring Norrbring Consulting

I can tell you I had to really shake down the OS to find any sort of meaningful bugs that could be consider big or showstoppers. I did eventually find one - relating to a very big and needed app. The solution was very straight forward and fixed - no worries now! Frankly it's the best beta I have every slapped on my machine...Ever... Period. Kinda makes me worry about being obsoleted - lol.
