Has anyone tried compiling the driver from sources? And succeeded, where the binary-only driver failed? -- Rohit +9122 5692 2101 G9,Floor-1,Chandivali : SDE : TLSI : 9821394599@bplmobile.com The information below is compulsorily added for non-mahindrabt recepients. ********************************************************* Disclaimer This message (including any attachments) contains confidential information intended for a specific individual and purpose, and is protected by law. There are no sources for the "nvidia" driver, only for "nv": nvidia is closed source. There is, however, a kernel module that has to be compiled for every kernel change - absolutely necessary. It was in "/usr/src/kernel-modules/nv_glx/*". Read the README there. In the new style it is not there, the installer compiles it itself. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
