Is it possible to do a hard-drive installation using SUSE-10.0-EvalDVD* images? When I am trying to feed the image into the installation program it produces error message like (typed in from memory, could be not precise): mounting image: /mounts/extra/suse/SUSE.iso Error: value too big for the defined datatype -- Best regards, Alexander.

I haven't tried to install from the image. But you can mount the image and copy the dvd to a partition from which to install. Here's the command to mount an iso: mount -o loop -t iso9660 SUSE.iso /mnt
