[opensuse] strongswan @ 11.1
Hi, Questions about strongswan. does anybody succeeded in getting strongswan up-and-running? I tried to follow tthe config-guide from the SW-site, but i'm stuck. (probably because in the config-guide hey explicitly saiy that they don't delve into openssl) Any specific changes required for S.W. in /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf? hans -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Unless you need IPSec, I'd recommend OpenVPN. It works well and is easy to set up. -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Actualy, for a project i must make a comparison of tunnel (ssh -w, ipsec, openvpn. ?) Only minor restrictions are: a) preferably opensource b) clients for OSS / MS c) handle 10.000 simultaneous sessions d) support for smartcards So yes, i'll certainly look at openvpn2.1, but i need something to compare to. Hence *swan. And as Strongswan is included since 11.0 into the distro i thought i give it a spin... hw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
