Real One player for SuSE 8.2 Professional i386?
I seem to recall there being a beta Real One player in 8.1. I cannot find a Real One player for Linux at www.real.com or anywhere else for that matter. Does any one know if it is available and if so where? Does anyone know if Mozilla (1.4 and later) are going to support the rtsp protocol? TIA. Regards, Bob Pearson -- I am unique and special, just like everyone else.

I was looking for that yesterday ...

I have no idea. In the meantime, I've just been compiling a new mplayer with live.com streaming support. http://www.live.com/mplayer/ I'm not sure if it's working properly though >8-( sjb

If you go to the Real.com download site for Unix and choose to download Linux 2.x(libc6 i386) rather than the Linux 2.x(libc6 i386)RPM you will be offered the option of downloading RealOne Player for Unix (bottom left hand corner of page). Or you could last time I tried a few months ago. Barbara

Thanks for you information. I found that it is no longer available. :-( -- I am unique and special, just like everyone else.

Sure it is, I just downloaded it and the RealVideo 9 codec upgrade package. Go to: http://forms.real.com/real/player/unix/unix.html?src=082503realhome_1_2_1 Enjoy! Jesse

People are confusing the RealPlayer with the RealOne Player, both from www.real.com or am I missing something? Thanks. -- I am unique and special, just like everyone else.
