I have a user (my mom) who would like to send mail from my system, but receive any replies at her @yahoo.com pop account. I put the following entry in /etc/mail/genericstable: mgrant m_grant@yahoo.com (and ran SuSEconfig). This changes the "From " and "Return-Path" to m_grant@yahoo.com, but the "From: " is still my system, and if I reply via mutt it tries to reply to mgrant at mgrant@adsl-63-194-251-2. I can get it to do what I want by setting the reply-to, but that wouuld mean changing it for each user. If this works then my brother wants to do the same thing, but for his account at primenet.com instead of yahoo. Is there a way to set this up in a system-wide manner? Does that make any sense? nevermind.. I just realized that's a mailer issue, not a sendmail thing. I need to sleep more often. :) -John On Fri, Oct 06, 2000 at 09:20:45PM -0700, John Grant wrote:
