I have a UPS (a APC Backup-Pro) hooked up to my Linux box via what I think is /dev/ttyS1 (COM2). The APC software is not getting any infomation from the UPS. How can I check to see if there is any information coming over /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1? Did you use a smart or dumb cable to connect the APC to the serial card? JLK -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
