How to make sendmail -q work with postfix (stopped)

I use a combination of the Obtuse smtpd email agent together with sendmail -q. the smtpd receives the email on port 25 and forwards it to the sendmail queue. Running sendmail -q (as a cron-job), forwards the mail to my internal mailserver. I would prefer to use postfix, but apparently the sendmail -q command only works when postfix is running. I there any way to get postfix to forward queued mail without receiving mail on port 25 (or any other port for that matter). ? Thanks in advance Bo Jacobsen
