Is there anyway to expand any of these filesystems without losing the info on the partition? I have a couple partitions that need to be expanded to make room for some upgrades. Thanks! NeoFax

Yes they can. resize2fs resize_reiserfs Do NOT do this without a confirmed backup in place. I did it once and very nearly lost many gigs of data. Only a lot of tinkering and blind luck got my data back. I still don't know exactly what fixed it though. You live and learn. -- Steve Boddy
