Beauty about Mutt commandline is that it can also add attachments: mutt -s "subject" -a somefile.tar.bz2 foo@foo.com < mailbody -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. You need to configure an MTA (mail transfer agent). I suggest you use YAST (Network/Basic -> Mail) to do it. Basic configuration is easy, you don't need to read any documentation. Your MUA (mail, mutt, ...) will send the e-mail to your MTA (the default is sendmail in SuSE 8.0) and it will send it to your IP provider's SMTP server. -- Alexandr.Malusek@imv.liu.se
