I've speeded up SuSE 10 a little by tweaking and recompiling the kernel and modules, and adding prelinking. I just wondered if there is anything else worth recompiling that might make a difference - basic libraries or whatever. I am running KDE. This question might be a little OT for the list, since it is not about a technical problem per se and tweaking things is inviting instability, I do realize. If so, apologies in advance. :) Fish
