Hi I've had 2 complete lockups today, Had to poke it in the eye to reboot as keyboard was frozen, the mouse moved okay but unable to click on anything. Ctrl, Alt Backspace was not a option. The HDU light was still flashing every couple of seconds so the machine was still running. I left it on the second time for a couple of hours to see if it sorted itelks out - no luck. Both times I had Chromium open with about 8 tabs active, i was copying text from one tab to a Libreoffice document and the lock up happened during this process both times. I've never had this problem before. I used to use Opera for most of my browsing but as 12.16 is getting flaky as it falls behind (i.e. backtab doesn;t always work) and never encountered this problem.
