linux powersave Error (CPUFreq_kernel 21)
I am getting the following lines in the system log Linux powersave ERROR (CPUFreq_kernel 21) Can not ondemand governor, maybe your cpufreq driver is too slow Linux powersave ERROR (CPUFreq_kernel 23) Try CPUFREQ_CONTROL=userspace in /etc/sysconfig/powersvae/cpu/freq Linux powersave ERROR (PM_Interface 231) Cannot create cpufreq objects Well, this 3 year old Dell desktop machine ain't likely to have no such thing as a cpu governor on it. I'm sure it's much too simple minded for that. I tried looking at the powersave scheme I'm using and the only thing that looks like it might apply is the "Frequency Scaling" setting. There are 3 settings, none of which seem to say not to try to do any scaling. I do not have "Allow throttling" checked. Anyone else getting this message or know how to get rid of it? Thanks, Greg Wallace
