[SuSE Linux] X-server problems
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Well in the continuing saga... Finally after replacing the main board I rid myself of the PCI error and SAX does come up now. However, SAX upon testing the server gives me a very little unintelligible chunk of a large picture no mater what I set the video to. xf86config is no better because I get binary errors when I try to "startx". Tomorrow I'll get a different video card and give that a try. Crossing fingers. What card do you have. I get similar symptoms with an SiS AGP 6326, and was informed to set the options sw_cursor, and no_bit_blt. Your card may need these or a different option set. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
