Does anybody know a debugger similar to Softice running under Linux? I've worked with gdb a few times, but it doesn't have the features I really need and sometimes it isn't able to stop at my breakpoints.
Did you try ddd? It's just a frontend to gdb, but it's much nicer to work with than using plain gdb. Or use the gdb-mode in emacs, this gives you kind of an integrated devolopment tool... :) Ciao, BB -- Bodo Bauer S.u.S.E., LLC fon +1-510-835 7873 bb@suse.de 458 Santa Clara Avenue fax +1-510-835 7875 <A HREF="http://www.suse.com"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com</A">http://www.suse.com Oakland CA, 94610 USA -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
