I have compiled a custom kernel (following the instructions in README.SUSE from the kernel source) to enable console rotation. I copied the config from /boot, changed the version string and enabled the console rotation. My query is, when I install the modules and kernel, will they replace the current running kernel or be installed alongside? No need to compile your own kernel to enable console rotation, it has been recently enabled by default, install kernel from the Kernel:stable or kernel:head repository. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
