Hi Is there any way to copy an open window in KDE and paste it into OOo writer? In Win2K, you press alt+printscreen, the go into MSWord and paste it whereby you get the image of the previously open window or dialog box. This is great for doing Howtos but have not found the secret in SuSE Linux 8.0. Art

Yes, but the gimp is big and takes a while to start. (KSnapshot takes too long to start for me, in some of the moods I get in :-).) It's OK if you're already running the gimp *anyway* though. I like KSnapshot - I can grab things and save them straight out to my public_html and paste the URL into my IRC window if I need to show someone something. -- Rachel
