Hi all, Is it just me having trouble, or can you guys/girls not log into yahoo either? I checked gaim's website, news, changelog, buglist, didn't find anything related. Using 0.74-ulb Thanks Hans

I'm using that one too and I have just logged in without any problems. Eddie
Thanks Hans

OK, I logged into mail.yahoo.com and was told that my account have been deactivated because I haven't logged in for so long. Reactivated it, but gaim still won't log in. The error is: hansduplooy has been disconnected Wed Dec 17 15:21:46 2003 Unable to read Just that. The logs don't tell me anything either. Has the yahoo server address changed? I have scs.yahoo.com on port 5050 Thanks Hans

Yahoo! randomly disconnects me even though I use it for some email and what not. It just does this. You should set a new passwd and wait a bit for it to take effect. Also, make sure you remove the old passwd out of GAIM and have it prompt you for a passwd to make sure everything is correct. It's pretty sad when my old as dirt MSN account is more stable then Yahoo!. ;) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===--- #147972 ---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org -- Why do we bother with a suicide watch when someone is on death row? Thanks Ben, I changed the password, but I still get the same error - "unable to read." I am now compiling from source. Maybe just maybe it might help. True about MSN - mine works fine too, even after they disabled my mail for not logging in. What is even sadder is that (from what I hear, lemme know if this is wrong) yahoo runs linux... One would expect things to "just work" Hans
