And when you try to sign up to be notified, it doesn't work. How hard is that to understand? I mentioned that the first time this was brought up. I noticed both after my last posting, so instead of sitting around and whining about it I just submitted a bug report: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=433296 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Let's see. Did you try it on the 7th? That was the day we were talking about. It was fixed sometime on the 8th, and folks now can sign up. I also tried it last week when it was mentioned the first time. It didn't work then and I mentioned it. I really hope it gets up and running. Confirmation? Odd. I signed up yesterday and it seemed to work, but I didn't get any confirmation email. The message displayed upon submission of your email address include "You will receive an invitation as soon as we're ready for you." but no mention of the sort: You will receive a confirmation shortly, which may be why I wasn't looking for one. I'll take verbose and ugly pseudo-failure over silent failure any day!

What a Shame ! I just gave my e-mail address to get informed when then will accept futher tester, and meanwhile I clicked on the "build an appliance" link. Look what window pooped up !!! (see attachment, sorry don't have a housing space for linking image). It is a shame that on a novell web site featuring a new Suse tool, you can't use konqueror to browse in !!! Listmates, I apologize for the size of my previous post. I wont do it ever again... But, I just wanted to prove that actually using konqueror, I was not able to go to that link. Plus, I did not know of any image file share housing space, nor I was particularly interest in. I send images maybe once every three years... So, thank you for the link www.bouncethem.com, if I should send image I will use such a tool. Have a nice day Matthias -- / \ /_!_\ My e-mail address has just changed. I think you probably just hit a bug, possibly a transient one, in that Web site's software. I just visited it using Konqueror (version 3.5.5) and Firefox (version 2.0) and both presented the same page with no error message in either. Considering the fact that you're using Konqueror and the message you posted (*) stating that your browser is not supported which then goes on to say the Konqueror would probably work, I'd guess that this is just a bug in the site's logic. I'd probably just sign up to get on the list for an invitation once more are made available. In fact, I did just that. (*) And would it not have been easier to simply copy that error text rather than create a screen-capture image??
