[opensuse] Error starting Wireshark via SSH
I frequently run Wireshark over SSH. One thing I've noticed is I'll often get an error: "# The program 'wireshark' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)'. (Details: serial 251 error_code 10 request_code 130 minor_code 1) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)" Once I've received that message, I can then give the command again to start Wireshark and it runs fine. Any idea what might be causing this? I'm running openSUSE 13.1 on both ends. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
