Hey where! Does anybody know how I can to use M$ Access database file from PHP? I have SuSE 9.2 apache+MySQL+PHP installed and some additional packages: devel:/home/iscander # rpm -qa | grep -i odbc MyODBC-unixODBC-3.51.06-150 libgda-odbc-1.0.3-51 php4-unixODBC-4.3.4-26 perl-DBD-ODBC-1.06-225 unixODBC-devel-2.2.8-55 unixODBC-2.2.8-55 mdbtools-odbc-0.5-236 OK. I hope I'm right about useing ODBC, am I? But what is it my next step? How can I start these gears turns? I have a foo.mdb file, empty /etc/unixODBC/ entry, no GUI(remote server), user and root access. What do I need to do? I hope I don't need a Windows box only for working with one file. Could someone help to me? Thanks in advance, -- Best regards Alexandr R. Ogurtzoff { UNIX is user friendly, it's just picky about who its friends are }
