Re: [SLE] still can't get www.suse.com
Hi All, Yes, it's a problem with UUnet having a routing loop. Our provider doesn't use UUnet but it's peers do. Currently, it seems that most of Europe can't get to us...we're doing everything we can to resolve this which unfortunately means that we're pretty much stuck waiting for UUnet to get their act together and remove the loop. I'm truely for the all of the problems--I'm hoping that this will be resolved today. -- Cheers, Christopher Mahmood --------------------------------------------------------------- SuSE Inc., Tel: +1-510-628-3380, x5024 580 Second St., Suite 210 Fax: +1-510-628-3381 Oakland CA 94607 Public Key: USA http://www.suse.com/~ckm/key.gpg ---------------------------------------------------------------
OK, the problem should be resolved now and I've just flushed the nearly 1000 emails waiting to go out to our European friends. Again, I'm very sorry for trouble. -- Cheers, Christopher Mahmood --------------------------------------------------------------- SuSE Inc., Tel: +1-510-628-3380, x5024 580 Second St., Suite 210 Fax: +1-510-628-3381 Oakland CA 94607 Public Key: USA http://www.suse.com/~ckm/key.gpg ---------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Christopher, I am not part of this discussion in an active way, but was affected by the problem. I would just like to say that there is no need to be sorry for the trouble as it wasn't your fault!
