After an extensive update my system hang and I did a hard reset. Suse 10 did not want to boot after this reset. It stops in console and after the password it does not react on startx. I get the info that there is no screen recognized. the kdm.log shows following. Somebody with a Linux solution? Repair? do you have an ATI or NVidia video card?? if so you need to configure that card using sax2 ( from init 3) -- Paul Cartwright Registered Linux user # 367800
