At last I have 7.1. Absolutely fantastic, best yet. One thing thought, I have a Voodoo 3 2000 video card and under 7.0 using Xfree 3.3.6 I could run all the 3d games and screensavers. How do I do that in 7.1 ? I configured the card using Sax2 to run with 3d acceleration but nothing works. What packages should I have installed ? Do I need to add the 640x480 to the available reesolutions ? How do I do that ? Grateful for any pointers as to what to do. Mike

Voodoos should do fine. Please elaborate on "nothing works" a bit more. We don't have a crystal ball :) Error messages? Crashes? What happens? LenZ To be more precise : I have configured X with Sax2 with 3d acceleration default resolution 1064x768 16b plus 640x80 is listed as well. Installed packages are : glean glidedri mesasoft What happens is that tux aqfh ,Aleph, SSySTEM etc will only run in a small window and not fullscreen. Mike
