Dear my friends... I have 2 web servers with mysql db server inside each of them. One webserver+MySQL is for the publihed web+db server and another is for development activity. Yesterday, in order to make simplicity I moved the 3-tier program from my development web server onto my published web server with scp. I just copied the code from 192.168.23.237:/srv/www/htdocs/custadm to 192.168.23.1:/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/custadm with this command : " patrix:/srv/www/htdocs/custadm # patrix:/srv/www/htdocs/custadm #scp -r ./* 192.168.23.1:/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/custadm ". No error message absolutely. Than, the problem comes if the visitors visit the 3-tier application on "http://192.168.23.1/custadm/index.html" than what comes on their internet browser will be what actually on "http://192.168.23.237/custadm/index.html (the development server)". Why is that so? It is totally confusing for me. Please teach me...Why is that so and what should I do? Thank you very much in advance. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! It sounds to me as though you have hard-coded in your code the name or address of the development server (either for http or mysql) and so the production server is running the code but pulling the information from the development server. Go back over your code -- and any subsidiary files, such as the mysql .myrc -- again to make sure you do not have any references to the development area. % % Thank you very much in advance.
