Hi, im looking for people who are willing to create a unified theme for the *box window managers (openbox, blackbox, fluxbox) based on the new wallpaper by Ken (/usr/share/wallpaper/suse10*) for inclusion into SUSE Linux 10.0. Anyone willing to do that? Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, Subsystems "Rules change. The Game remains the same." - Omar (The Wire)

The directory is wallpapers, not wallpaper. Just to be sure. I can't do such a thing, but because you were talking about wallpapers, I thought I could point you to kde-look.org If you do an advanced search there, you can find many GPL and other free SUSE backgrounds. Some are extremely good (and some just lousy) Wouldn't it be nice to include those as well. It would be a nice gesture to those who have taken their time to make a SUSE wallpaper. http://www.kde-look.org/content/search.php?page=1&search=1&type=4&name=suse&user=&text=&sort=0&scorefilter=0 or http://tinyurl.com/9l2y9 and start filetering. Something like http://www.kde-look.org/content/pre1/24578-1.jpg is just nice and there are a lot others. As I said GPL, LGPL and other licences. Would it be possible to include them or at least some? houghi -- Think of it! With VLSI we can pack 100 ENIACs in 1 sq. cm.!

I was not talking about wallpapers. I was talking about *box themes based on the new wallpaper. Please read first, understand, then comment :) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, Subsystems "Rules change. The Game remains the same." - Omar (The Wire)

You mentioned wallpapers. Where I live it is common to use `while you were talking about` as an introduction to the fact that even though it was not the main subject, it was related to some part on what one had said. Anyhow, will it be possible to andwer the question here? If not I will start a new thread. houghi -- There are two sides to every divorce: yours and the shithead's.

I'd like to participate. you can look at some of my work @ kde-look.org (http://www.kde-look.org/usermanager/search.php?username=dadeisvenm )like houghi suggested. If you want you can post your inquiry there and hopefully you'll get a good response. If you can get (or if they are reading right now) the Marketing folks at Novell or the Lead Developers involved we can make a competition of it :-D - Donald

For the 10.0 timeframe this might not be possible because due to the tight roadmap, but we should consider it for the next release cycle... Regards Christoph

A bit much for some small themes to some small windowmanagers or? Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, Subsystems "Rules change. The Game remains the same." - Omar (The Wire)

It doesn't really (have anything to do with box themes)... but (houghi) and I are reffering to the artistic linux community (a large amount at kde-look.org) that are willing to contribute to this subject. Alot of the artist there can do mock-ups and designs to give you what you want. Are there *box artist communities?

Not at all what are artist for but for art. That what we do. :-)
