This you typically get when you hibernate your system (i.e., suspend to disk), maybe also when suspending to RAM (I never use that). I don't see anything when I do a dmesg | tail

I have power saving turned off in the BIOS. The only PCI card I have is a Promise SATA card with 2 SATA drives hooked up to it.

Anyone have any ideas? It doesn't seem to affect the system. I'm just using it as a file server. Thanx

Same thing happen on i586 boxes. You can easily see this in runlevel 3 by Alt+(left arrow) twice. I didn't think there was supposed to be anything on the other side of the system console, but I get one line that says: resuming... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
