Hello, I've searched into the list and it seems nobody already talked about this. Klamav is a very good antivirus tool for your Linux box. It's even scanning file directly "on access" It also does the configuration of kmail automatically to scan email viruses when they come to your kmail inbox ! This is a very good app in my opinion. It only lacks a scanning scheduler. Here it is : http://ftp.mathematik.uni-bielefeld.de/pub/suse/apt/SuSE/9.2-i386/RPMS.suser... After install it will be stored in the "Utilities" folder of the menu K. Fred

Yeah; but that is just a KDE interface for clamav; so actually still the clamav core does the job. I have also many anti-virus/trojan/rootkit-related stuff on my comps, but honestly on a stand-alone Linux box I don't think, that you really would need an "on-access" scanner. Similarly, klamav is not needed to scan your e-mail attachments. Pelibali
