Hi! Is someone here can tell me a software that works fine to burn cd's of all kind? Is a kind of software exist for linux? I tried some like KonCD, arson, and FireBurner but I always have problems. What I'm trying to do now, and I must do it, it to take some MP3 files and have it on a cd as audio track to be listen in any cd reader. Someone can tell me a software to do it and others burning actions? Thanks Martin

All of Linux GUI CD burning programs (I know of) are just front ends to the command line programs: mkisofs, cdrecord, mpg123. You have to have these installed to use the GUIs. I just use bash scripts to burn data and audio CDs calling these programs with the options I want. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ Right behind you, I see the millions Got spam? I believe (someone else correct me if I'm wrong) that all the various CD burning interfaces around are based on the CD writing programs mkisofs, which creates a CD image, and cdrecord, which does the actual CD burning. If you can't find an interface that meets your need, you might just want to work with cdrecord directly. It's not that hard. Paul
I use K3B, It's for kde but should be ok in others. It has a really nice GUI and is very versatile. you can download it from the SuSE kde applications directory online On Friday 05 July 2002 22:19, Martin Richard wrote:
