Playing those CD's with "video" clips on them
Hello, Is there an app that will play the video parts of CD's. You know the ones where there are songs and stuff and then they have pics (and junk) but also clips. K's Choice -- Almost Happy is such a CD. Not very well explained (on these subjects I am an ignoramous) but if you know what I mean..please point me -->> thataway -- Regards Cliff
I'm assuming what you want is to view the iso9660 filesystem on the second session of the CD, with the first session being audio. Just mount it :) That's right, just 'mount /media/cdrom' and use some software to view the video clips, depending on what format it's in. Please take into consideration that many such clips use the Quicktime format, which is far from Linux-friendly. I have heard of great success, however, from the Codeweaver's plugin... Thanks. I tried this but mount bitches about it. Is there some extra parameter to get at the "second session". I read mount (8) but am none the wiser. -- Regards Cliff
