Oggetto: [SLE] Program to RIP DVD's?
Anyone know of an easy to use program for ripping DVD's?
I am not interested in burning DVD's only ripping them for storage and
playback on my laptop using Kaffeine.
The program does not need to be to have fancy gui, in fact I would
prefer a simple command line program that can run in the background
while I use the laptop for other things.
TIA

Odin might be of help, along with Zeus. 8^) What usually works for me -- when all else fails -- is to power down, pull out the rubber chicken and whack the computer's case with it, and power back up. Sad thing is, sometimes that works. Krikket

We found over the years that chicken bones hung over the computer works best! My solution to the acidrip problem was to go to Packman and download and install Video-dvdrip. I used apt and it went smoothly. If that doesnt work then it's back to black magic. Richrd

And why should a prayer to my ancestor, whose real name is Óðinn Frjálfarsson (His fathers name wasn't frjálfari, btw.), help this person out? Óðinn, who called upon all children of his people, to fight to the death against their enemy, who stood for the destruction of his home of origin, before he immigrated into denmark and died in sweden? :-p No, pray to the Goths ... I mean God :-)

Well I may have some germanic ancestor and a romano-greek may have raped another one but I prefer to pray Belen or Toutates.
