I have suse9.2 and tried to print an envelope #10 on an epson printer. I found out that Open office refuses to generate the landscape command in the postscript files. I generated PS files and pdf files to take a look at the results. All of them show up as poitrait mode. Is this a bug in Open office 1.1.3? I was finally able to get it to work in Abiword. It works fine so the printer is working correctly. -- Joseph Loo jloo@acm.org
See the OO list...many of us have complained & their answer is 'read the manual"! Needless to say this is not a help, since it still doesn't print. Abiword sounds like the answer if you don't like/or need to use Scribus, a DTP program, which is my answer. Not doing envelopes is a known OO, Star Office problem, in spite of what the list gurus say.

Try Tools -> print -> at the bottom under printer warnings, check mark Paper orientation. It works for me on spreadsheets. Rich -- Rich Matson Reno, Nv. USA

I believe you are saying file->printers->properties. I already did that there was no such luck. I know it is capable of doing because it was working in a previous version. Oops. I meant in Open Office -> tools -> options -> Print -> at the bottom under printer warnings, check mark Paper orientation. It works for me on spreadsheets. I apologize, Rich -- Rich Matson Reno, Nv.
