Pretty much everything. It doesn't even look the same.
I hope SuSE will make SuSE 6.2 update for KDE 2..
I don't see how that will be practical; I'm sure it's doable, but SuSE will be well into the 7.x releases by the time that KDE2 is released...

KDE2 has a whole new look. Basically, they have taken the look of KDE and polished it up so that it looks incredible. Koffice is great. I didn't play with it too much, but what I saw was superb. It looked better than some commercial office suites. Other than that, the only things I really noticed were the new file manager/browser. It only looks slightly different from the old one, but is much improved. I actually preferred it to netscape during my short trial. Unfortunately, trying it on a test system running Slackware, it seems like there may be a serious memory leak somewhere in the 1.91 beta. Hopefully this will get taken care of soon. To sum it all up, KDE2 is going to be great, and you should definately look into getting it when it is released.
