Wondering if anyone is using Kicq?
I would like to. I have tried. I am new to icq. How do I get a login? There seems to be no facility for it in the version I have, which i think is the one that came with suse 6.3.
Unfortunately, that one can only connect you to an existing icq account. It works pretty well if you already have an account established.
Wrong. If you use Kicq, click on the ICQ tab (bottom left corner) and go to the "New User" menu (top). Follow on-screen instructions. As for the ICQ server... IIRC, it is icq.mirabilis, port 4000 HTH, Martin -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

I don't get a new users menu when i click there. I get search/add users , preferences, and shut down. When I start kicq, I get the preferences window, and can only sign on with a number of 0, and a nick and password.
