Hello :-) SUSE cd had usually (at least until 9.1), in the first cd, in the directory dosutils many programms, specially ext2fs I don't see them in 10.0/10.1. Are them abandoned? it's a problem with usb drives, that may not be written in NTFS. Hi jdd,
I think the right place for this question is opensuse-factory mail list. Please, correct mi if I'm in wrong.
as I don't use 10.1, I don't follow the factory. I often wonder if some bugreports still need to be done. seems they should be limited to security. and here it's for windows application.. so ? jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos

Definitely - I've been following 10.1 since around beta3, and there are quite a few bugreports.
seems they should be limited to security.
Not at all. I have a couple of machines where the installation is having problems: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=153585 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=159727 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=159731 /Per Jessen, Zürich

From your posting: I don't see them in 10.0/10.1. This will make people believe you have looked at 10.1
As you should know, this mailing list is trying to be about the openSUSE community, not about the distribution itself. Wether you actually try out 10.1 or not, it might still be interesting enough for you to follow discussions to see what will be going on in the future. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. so my fix
As you should know, this mailing list is trying to be about the openSUSE community, not about the distribution itself.
thats not what I understand. this list is also for bug reports of the stable branch. factory is for the develop one. what means "community", for you? the wiki has it's own list.

I have a very hard work populating the french wiki and can't afford to make more... the new communities are 6 month late from the first one, a hole world :-) so I wont be on the dev side for a moment, sorry :-), but still experiment bugs on some not so frequently used sides :-) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://dodin.org/galerie_photo_web/expo/index.html http://lucien.dodin.net http://fr.susewiki.org/index.php?title=Gérer_ses_photos

For me 'community' means the people. Wiki is the website that the community reads. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit. Leben ist aber mehr als Werk und Arbeit, und das Sein wichtiger als das Tun - Johannes Müller-Elmau
