You can still use X-windows. The problem is when you attempt to display a window that is comming in over the masquerading port and going to a box other than the one that is physically connected to the outside world. Here is my situation: I have a system called lakshmana, this system has an ethernet connection to baraba. diald is running on baraba and connecting to earthlink-sprint. I can telnet into my sparc at work just fine over the dial up connection. When I try to setenv DISPLAY ${REMOTEHOST}:0.0 and then run kedit on the sparc, the kedit window goes to baraba. I would like it to go to lakshmana, but I don't know how to accomplish this.
