Hi-
I am at the point in resurrecting my system that I would like to get wabi back on so I can get quicken and corel 3 working. Could someone from SuSE or the mailing list please repost their excellent directions for installing wabi? The rpm's cause a segmentation fault when I attempt to run them and I do not remember what I did last time to get it working.
OK, WABI 101 1. As root mount the wabi cdrom 2. execute the script "install-wabi" on the cdrom, you do not need to be in x-windows 3. it will install to /opt/wabi 4. chmod /dev/zero 666 5. logon as a user and startx --bpp 8, as wabi needs 256 colors, or 24 bit color if your card supports it. 6. type "wabi" from an xterm and it will want to see some win3.1 floppies, or a win3.1 installation on a hard disk. Thats it.:-) zentara -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
