[opensuse] Pidgin -myspace?
As of version 2.2.0 of pidgin, myspace is supported. However in the openSUSE 10.3 release no myspaceim account creation selection is available. Anybody got any ideas how to remedy this without a source build? Thanks. Upgrade using the GNOME Stable Buildservice: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/STABLE/openSUSE_10.3/ You can do: sudo zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/STABLE/openSUSE_10.3/ "openSUSE BuildService - GNOME Stable" sudo zypper up pidgin And you should be good to go Ben -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

That's cool, thanks for letting us know that :) As for your question, my Pidgin, in openSUSE 10.3 is 2..1.1, so I would try here: http://software.opensuse.org/search?p=1&q=pidgin&baseproject=openSUSE% 3A10.3 The second result is the new version, and there's a 1-Click Install links there. -- Kevin Dupuy <kevindupuy@bellsouth.net> Yo.media -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I can confirm by the way, that it works with MySpaceIM. It's pretty nice, now if I could remember my password... -- Kevin Dupuy <kevindupuy@bellsouth.net> Yo.media -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
